Thats the spirit. I hope you have the best christmas ever.

Have a grt packing time...even small things like this increase the joy of giving during Christmas, right????

And enjoy ur time with ur cat, too !!!!

Are you the snow woman this year? ;-)

Dashing through the snow
In a one horse open sleigh
O'er the fields we go
Laughing all the way
Bells on bob tails ring
Making spirits bright
What fun it is to laugh and sing
A sleighing song tonight

Oh, jingle bells, jingle bells
Jingle all the way
Oh, what fun it is to ride
In a one horse open sleigh
Jingle bells, jingle bells
Jingle all the way
Oh, what fun it is to ride
In a one horse open sleigh

I simply love Christmas and because it is the one festival we really have, I like to go all out. And of course I have to organise the Christmas event in our housing complex. I so look forward to it. All the kids are so excited about what I am going to come up with this year. :D I hope I can make it as special for them as it is for me!!! :D

Happy Christmas shopping!

I know how you feel! For some reason I'm into putting up the tree and all. Sometimes in the past, living alone, I've had a tendency to not decorate. As far as the kitten, I found after my daughter left for college and then married, I would decorate for my cats. One day I opened my front door to find the Christmas tree lying on it's side and a lot of the decorations pulled off and strown down the hallway. Sabby, would love to try to climb up the trunk of the tree, so I assumed he did this and caused the tree to fall over. They had a good time, but not one of them welcomed me at the door, their usual routine. Finally a head popped out of the bedroom, looked at me and popped back in. I started laughing, which caused an onslaught of cats running toward me. It was too funny!

I think it's awesome that your cat is "helping" you wrap Christmas presents. I haven't even started my shopping yet, but I've been making a list of the things I want to get. Our tree will go up next weekend. I'm really excited about this Christmas too. For some reason I wasn't last year. I hope you and Geoff have a wonderful Christmas!

Hey Heather! Your a friend of Agnes too! We have two friends in common! Bruce and Agnes!

I really love Christmas time, no matter what. I love the lights, the trees, the smell of pine scented and spice scented candles and the Christmas spirit. But, what I really love about Chrismas is having snow. Last year we got a lot and since we get a white Christmas only ever decade or so, I am not expecting it this year. But, I am hoping for another chance of another white christmas despite the odds. It makes it a whole lot better!

It does feel like Xmas. To me, this is the best time to hang out indoor, in over-heated shopping mall, and to sip hot chocolate or to enjoy a funky latte at the coffee shop!

happy Christmas Agnes :) for me I just finished putting up our tree :) so excited also :)

I love Christmas and it's my favorite time of the year. This year is extra special for me though... and I am sure it will be for your too.

Merry Christmas, Agnes! :)

I totally get what u say...all these years we went home for Christmas, this is sort of the 1st year we are all alone in Dubai. I'm determined to get my act together...already scouting around for a good cake recipe and the tree is scheduled to make its appearance in the 1st wekend of December itself;-o.

Happy Christmas shopping!!!!!!

It isn't even Thanksgiving yet and you're half finished with the Christmas decorations! The theme this year, so basic and so natural with no glitz is beautiful. The magic is really taking hold. It feels so right. Thanks for getting started. The comments are funny, warm, touching and real so thank all of you. I'm sure this will be a great Christmas for us all.

Oh so I am not alone with my early Christmas spirit! I thought it was just me trying to get everything going before Geoff starts radiation, but clearly, you're all into it too -- Christmas is in the air! Great, I'm all excited!

Christmas is in the air,the magic is in the air. I was at a friends house the other day and she had snowflakes hanging from strings in one part of her place. Reminded me of Canada eh and the magic of a white Christmas...the magic is in the air and I am inhaling more and more of this Christmas magic as each day passes...

Lucky: Your friend's house has even more snow flakes now and it is slowly transforming into winter wonderland -- Smokey is ecstatic :-) You should come over for some spicy tea.

Hello from up north! Santa land haha! I am usually on some trip or too wrapped up in my own world to realize that it is Christmas time. But I feel a certain stillness this year, like me and Christmas are in sync. And I think we will have a good time together.

Happy Decorating! (what is it about cats and present wrapping?)

I think I shall ask Santa for kitten photos :)

This is cool!
