Today was a long but awesomely atypical day, complete with having a strange meal at this semi-gaudy place that makes you feel like you're two cartoon-bubbles and a subtitle away from being some offbeat character in a Tarantino movie.
Geoff and I took a bunch of great photos in this diner that I was gonna post here but they're taking forever to load and I am being kind to your browsers. Blame it on the digital age though, taking photos without the inconvenience of having to buy film just makes it all too easy. Before you know it, your memory card is full and all you can account for is 800 photos of Smokey and 50 identical sunsets. Seriously, I think I only have one photo* of myself from my pre-digital life -- which is probably for the best, considering the horrid fact that today's great photos are tomorrow's embarrassment, and your golden days seem like nothing but a series of hideous hairdo's and atrocious outfits. But then you become a cute old grandma and it will all be well and vintage.
Thanks for stopping by everyone.
Until next time.
*EDIT: on second thought, definitely more than one
